if someone msg me it dosent show in first place

before some days when chat if new msg come that name appear in first, but now its dosent show like this, we have to search that name in down side

pahle msg aane ke bad o kisane bheja hai. o pahle no pe aata tha. abhi o aata nahi hia , dhundana pad raha hia

From 2-3 days I am seeing. If chat person log out then also it shows in list. If whisper then only it showes . Person not online
