Quiet Distance !!

Some distances aren’t endings,
just a little more space to breathe.
I still carry what I feel,
but I’m learning what I need.

No words, no explanations...
just silence where I used to chase.
Maybe I’m losing something…
or maybe I’m finding my own place.

Maybe you don’t have to explain the distance.
I can understand it, even when you don’t say much.
I know some parts of you are still trying to find peace,
and maybe that’s why you keep a little space between us.
I’m not going to ask you to forget what made you this way,
just to make room for me.
Take your time.
I’d rather let you feel safe in your own way,
than make you feel like you have to choose me too quickly.
And if you’re still learning how to let someone stay,
I don’t mind being patient.
I’m not here to chase you.
I’m just here, hoping that someday.
