I think that it's absolutely correct...BDSM is not based on Gender but power dynamics and roles and it's upon the person what to choose in that...And other than that, Everyone has their preferences...But even in that, respect matters the most, and I agree on that

Inside the play i would love to call them with names if they are comfortable with the process consent. But once the play ends. I refrain myself from calling names. Well, calling anyone with names should be definitely with consent, what i love about BDSM is the structure, the discipline that comes in the boundaries are so clearly defined. Its so difficult in the other world though, sometimes i feel these people need to be put into place the right place they deserve i only wish they land into bdsm someday so that doms like us can teach them how to be a better person by inculcating some manners
